At
Fiddlehead, we strive to make wines of distinction that
are elegant, textural, interesting, exquisite and unique!
Focusing solely on Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, we
endeavor to make wines that show the stylistic characteristics
of each grape, as well as exhibiting a sense of place.
We believe that "place"
is one of the most important considerations to crafting
elegant and classic wines. With this in mind, we make
Pinot Noir from two outstanding "terroir-driven"
appellations - our estate vineyard in Santa Rita Hills
and Oregon's Willamette Valley. Needing a slightly different
micro-climate to deliver the flavor profiles we desire,
our Sauvignon Blanc hails from vineyards in the far
eastern end of the Santa Ynez Valley.
All of our Fiddlehead wines are made
by hand, with care and attention given individually
to each barrel throughout the aging process. Once bottled,
most of our wines age at least another year in our temperature
controlled facility so that the different components
of the wine are married and integrated, yet still layered
and with a pleasing complexity. We just love making
wine, and we think that shows in the final product!
We invite you to experience the personal touch of Fiddlehead
wines for yourselves. |
