Philosophy

At Fiddlehead, our philosophy is simple and straightforward. We take care of the vineyards, and the grapes reward us. Equal attention is given to Sauvignon Blanc farming as Pinot Noir. We pay our contract growers to farm “by the acre” to ensure that those vineyards are given as much care as our own Fiddlestix Vineyard.

We immerse ourselves in winemaking, paying individual care to each cluster, each lot and each barrel.
We focus on crafting different styles of each wine, rather than a more simple vineyard designation. At Fiddlehead, we love the diversity each varietal can provide.

We believe that our wines benefit from bottle aging so that the components and layers of each wine are fully integrated before released to the public.
